Grapefruit pineapple smoothie1/22/2024 ![]() This smoothie takes just minutes to make and is a great breakfast, or even after school snack. Blend and enjoy! We love the flavor of cherry and also the beautiful color of pink it turns your smoothie! Cherries say summer to me, and I love that we can still eat them in the Winter just frozen! Then I put in a splash of orange juice and Greek yogurt. We even love to let them sit in a bowl and thaw for a minute and then just eat the fruit! I also add 1/2 a frozen banana for a bit of sweetness. Cutaway the peel from the lime or lemon, leaving most of the white pith and lemon flesh. Chop the cucumber, pineapple, and ginger into thin pieces small enough to go through the juicer easily. ![]() Both of them are sweet, but also give a bit of tang. Coarsley chop the parsley and spinach leaves. And let’s be honest – when the weather is cold, its grey and dreary outside, who doesn’t want to feel like they are in the tropics? And if you can’t be there, at least you can feel like you are eating something tropical.įor this smoothie, we used frozen cherries and frozen pineapple. It is citrus-y, delicious and packed full of vitamins. ![]() That means it has has as many nutrients and as much flavor as fresh! Our smoothie of choice lately has been a Cherry Pineapple Smoothie. We love frozen fruit because it is flash frozen right after it is picked. Because it is harder to eat fruits and veggies in the Winter I have been all about the smoothie. Even though it is freezing, every morning this past week my daughter has requested a smoothie. ![]() The funny thing about the cold is that I just don’t think it effects kids like it does adults. This winter has been pretty mild, but it has just started to get cold. ![]()
